Smolyan Municipality is implementing project "Rehabilitation and Modernization of the System for External Artificial Lighting of the town of Smolyan" under Procedure: № BGENERGY-2.001 Rehabilitation and Modernization of Municipal Infrastructure - Systems for External Artificial Lighting of Municipalities, RENEWABLE ENERGY, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, ENERGY SECURITY PROGRAMME, funded by by Financial Mechanism Of The European Economic Area 2014-2021. Grant Contract Reg. № BGENERGY- 2.001-0034-018

Beneficiary: Municipality of Smolyan

Project Partner: „Enok - Senteret – Energy Efficiency Center”

Total amount of the grant: 784 066,35 BGN.

For Smolyan Municipality: 747 554,66 BGN.

For the Partner: 36 511,69 BGN.

The main objective of the project proposal is to improve the living conditions of the population of the town of Smolyan through the reconstruction and modernization of the system for external artificial lighting of the city.

Specific objectives:

• reduction of energy consumption;
• reduction of CO2 emissions;
• cost savings for the maintenance of the external artificial lighting system.
