Beneficiary: Municipality of Smolyan
Project Partner: „Enok - Senteret – Energy Efficiency Center” – Norwegian organization with great experience in the fields of heating, cooling, automation, environment, buildings, electro and energy management, etc. The company will contribute to exchange of experience and good practices in the field of energy efficiency and in particular with good practices and implemented projects on external artificial lighting.

Total amount of the grant: 784 066,35 BGN.
For Smolyan Municipality: 747 554,66 BGN.
For the Partner: 36 511,69 BGN.

The duration of project execution: 18 months, form 01.04.2021.

The main objective of the project proposal is to improve the living conditions of the population of the town of Smolyan through the reconstruction and modernization of the system for external artificial lighting of the city.

Specific objectives:

• reduction of energy consumption;
• reduction of CO2 emissions;
• cost savings for the maintenance of the external artificial lighting system.
